The Showcase Feature

What is the Showcase?

The Showcase is like a portfolio of pictures -- it stores images of items that you've selected from our website. If, for example, you're shopping for a dining table, and you'd like to consider several at once -- maybe compare the different look and feel of each table -- you find the tables you like and place each one in the Showcase by clicking on the Add to Showcase bar. The item you've chosen will then be placed in your Showcase.

Please note that when you add something to your Showcase, you are not automatically transported to the Showcase. To view items in your Showcase, click on the Showcase button found in the top navigation bar. Moreover, your selections will remain in your Showcase even after you leave the site. You must empty the Showcase in order to delete the items currently in it.

Why should I use the Showcase?

• Use it to compare features and prices of two or more items. How does one armoire compare to another? Do these chairs complement that dining table?


• Use it as a way to communicate your selections with other decision makers in your household or office. You can shop from home or office and send your selections to others for viewing or previewing.


• If you've found something to suggest to your decorator, you can send it to him or her via the Showcase. If you know someone who's remodeling their home, you can send them suggestions or help them shop around.

How do I share the Showcase with someone else?

• To send a Showcase you have created, type in the recipient's e-mail address in the box provided at the bottom of the Showcase page. If you wish, you can also add a note describing your selection (“I think this would be great in the living room.”) Be assured that the Showcase recipient’s e-mail address is used only to send the Showcase and in the case of transmission error. The recipient’s address will not be used for any other purpose.


• The person who receives your Showcase e-mail can click on the attached link and be transported to Frontera’s website to view your selections. Plus, if you send your Showcase to yourself at a different computer (from work to home, for example) you can buy the item(s) you selected right from the e-mailed Showcase. The Showcase e-mail provides you with a personal doorway back to the Frontera.com site.
