About Brazilian Cherry
This wood, which rates at more than twice the hardness of teak, has been used in decking, playground equipment, railroad crossties, marine and other outdoor applications for many years due to its density and superior weather resistant qualities. This wood is rare in furniture because its hardness makes it difficult to machine without the sophisticated equipment and advanced manufacturing techniques employed in the making of this chair.

This chair has been engineered for outdoor use at every step: the wood has been 100% kiln-dried, all hardware is exterior grade, glue is non-water soluble, slats are cut to shape; not bent, and all construction is mortise and tenon.

The natural oil stained chair can be expected to weather to a reddish dark grey over time. If the grey tone is preferred, no maintenance is necessary. If the reddish color is preferred, it can be restored by the application of our teak cleaner and protector.

This chair is warranted by the manufacturer against manufacturing defects for three years from date of purchase. Learn more about how this chair is made.

This chair is shipped partially assembled to meet UPS and FedEx Ground shipping guidelines and to keep the price to you as reasonable as possible. It takes most people about 15 minutes to complete assembly.
